Abstract
Release v30.3.8 — f_c unit convention re-registered (patch) Changelog from v30.3.7..HEAD (one commit): ba736d8 — f_c unit convention re-registered (E4 re-registration) The vault's registered freezing-edge constant f_c ≈ 30 THz now carries its unit convention explicitly: f_c = κ[rad/s]/π (README bullet + new note section Optical-Stepping-Synthetic-Gauge §2.2.2). Decisive arithmetic: at the registered edge point g = 0.8 (Meep cavity benchmark, λ₀ = 320 nm, ω₀ = 2πc/λ₀): κ = 9.42×10¹³ rad/s → f_c = 29.98 THz and h·f_c = 123.98 meV — both registered values reproduce [exact]. The alternative reading κ[Hz]/π gives 4.77 THz / 19.7 meV — refuted: it reproduces nothing registered anywhere in the family (differs by exactly 2π). New exact identity (parameter-free): f_c·τ_d = (κ/π)·(π/2κ) = 1/2 — the companion clock is the half-period of the τ_d delay clock: one operator, two clocks, exactly as the family's W5 verdict registered. Honest provenance note: the 30 THz value was always computed with the rad/s convention, but the convention itself was left unstated — an ambiguity admitting a 2π misreading; now closed. Nature-side status F3 untouched.
This publication proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches and analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being "agile" against the defined criterion.

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.

The results indicate that software engineering work practices are chosen opportunistically, adapted and configured to provide value under the constrains imposed by the startup context.

The perception of the impact of agile methods is predominantly positive, and several challenge areas were discovered, but based on this study, agile methods are here to stay.
