Abstract
The Cohesion UFT has a property that follows from its construction rather than fromany decision about presentation: it executes. Its constants are derived in closed formfrom a single axiom with no fitted parameters, its causal order is fixed, its vocabularyis finite and every term has a mechanical referent, and the same rule applies at everyscale. The consequence is that the framework can be run, by a person in a browser,by a machine at the edge, or by a language model following the derivation chain, andthe result is a number with a residual against measurement. This paper sets out whatmakes the framework computable, records the derived results that demonstrate it,states the observation that language models extend the framework to cases the serieshas not named, and attaches the filter that governs any such extension: a proposedresult is admitted only if it can be written as a chain from the axiom through theoperator sequence to a quantity the framework computes. The paper closes with thederived quantities restated as design constraints for applied readers, and with thequantities that remain open. It claims legibility and consistency for the framework, which are demonstrated. It does not claim that computability is evidence of physicalvalidity, which is a separate question answered only by measurement.
This publication proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches and analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being "agile" against the defined criterion.

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.

The results indicate that software engineering work practices are chosen opportunistically, adapted and configured to provide value under the constrains imposed by the startup context.

The perception of the impact of agile methods is predominantly positive, and several challenge areas were discovered, but based on this study, agile methods are here to stay.

Jennifer Neville did not want to go into computer science—but that’s exactly where she landed. Neville discusses the starts and stops that led to her professional sweet spot and her work identifying “surprising failures” making it hard for AI to handle complexity.
