Abstract
The technique of citation analysis involves the process of collection and analysis & interpretation of citations given in various types of literature and thereby helps in the identification of significant sources of information, individuals, institutions and other aggregates of scientific activities. The most appropriate technique for the study is counting citations on the basis of their characteristics, subject, authorship pattern, chronological distributions, geographical distribution, etc. The study examined 36 Ph.D. theses submitted in the department of Public Administration, KUK, during the period 2013-2022. The information was collected from the website of Shodhganga. This Microsoft Excel was used for data analysis, and the data was presented in tabulated form. The study finds the most cited sources, authorship patterns and geographical distribution. Single-authored books accounted for 1206 (79.97%) of total citations, while single-authored journals contributed 711 (67.97%). Out of the total 4085 citations, 1508 (36.92%) citations were from books, followed by journals with 1046 (25.83%) citations. The highest No. of 833 Journals (79.63%) and 1287 books (85.34%) cited in Public Administration, those published from India. The first-ranked journal was “Economic and Political Weekly” with 122 (11.66%) citations. The second-ranked journal was “Indian Journal of Public Administration” with 105 (10.03%) citations. The study shows a considerable variability in the frequency of the citations over the years, where the maximum citations were found in the specific period 2012-15. Further, this research underscores the importance of the local source of information in the field of Public administration and also illustrates that the single-authorship pattern was commonly used.
The main aim of the study is to analyze the different quantitative aspects of the journal Annals of Library and Information Studies, which includes year-wise growth of articles, authorship pattern of articles, collaboration index, degree of collaboration, geographical distribution of the research output, productivity and ranking of authors, etc. A scientometrics analysis of Annals of Library and Information Studies journals was conducted based on the articles published in the journal from 2010 to 2025. It covers 501 articles contributed by 952 authors from 31 countries. We have used several scientometric tools to see the different aspects of the journal. We identified the year-wise distribution of articles, authorship patterns, and geographical distributions. The study has the following findings: India is the most productive country. Most of the articles are written by multiple authors. In 16 years, a total of 501 articles were published in the journal Annals of Library and Information Studies by various researchers/ scientists, librarians, University teachers and also it can be seen that the maximum no of articles was published in the year 2014 with AGR 104.5%.

This study aims to map the intellectual and conceptual landscape of the B Corp movement within the scientific literature through a quantitative bibliometric analysis. Utilising the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection database, the research analyses 108 peer-reviewed articles published between 2007 and 2025. Data visualisation and network analysis, including co-authorship and keyword co-occurrence, were performed using the VOSviewer software. The results show that the number of publications has been growing exponentially since 2011, and the majority of the articles are in the business and management field. A total of 282 keywords were evaluated, and “B Corp” (total link strength: 315) and “Corporate Social Responsibility” (total link strength: 92) were identified as central conceptual pillars. The most cited influential work is by Julie Battilana and Alnoor Ebrahim, with 728 citations. Geographic concentration is still strong in the USA and Europe, but research on emerging economies, such as Türkiye, where there are presently 15 certified B Corps, is critically lacking. The results show a conceptual move from general corporate responsibility to specific issues of 'social impact' and 'employee ownership'. The paper concludes with a research agenda for future research that can help bridge the gap between global norms and local institutional contexts, particularly for researchers in Türkiye.

The purpose of this bibliometric analysis is to assess scholarly and research efforts in the field of SMA. Basically, the study observed the important indicators such as authors, journals, affiliations, key words, annual growth rate of scientific productions and citations, topic trends, and collaborative networks among scholars. "Scientific procedures and rationales for systematic literature review (SPAR-4-SLR)" is the methodology used in the study. 462 papers from 1995 to 2025 A.D. were retrieved from the Scopus database, and the analysis tool was Bibilioshiny. The analysis focuses on the expansion of scientific output, citations, keyword changes, the appearance of new authors, and the thematic area under SMA. The thematic area of SMA from its beginning to the present, as well as the most important authors, publications, affiliations, and collaborations, were highlighted, along with pioneering scholars in the discipline. New researchers continue their work to provide further insights in this field, guided by thematic analysis and the introduction of new keywords provided by this study in the field of SMA. This study can be used to evaluate SMA and its industrial practice and need assessment. Nevertheless, the study only used papers that were retrieved from Scopus, and its search keywords are limited.

Bibliometric analysis is crucial to grasp scholarly communication trends, thematic changes and knowledge organization within a field. The present study aims to examine the research trends in Library and Information Science (LIS) by analyzing the post-graduate theses stored in the National Library of Sri Lanka (NLSL). The main objectives are to explore trends in the subject, development of themes, distribution of languages, institutional involvement and time-based patterns in LIS research production. This study differs from the previous ones which followed descriptive statistical approach, as it studies the salient research themes in Sri Lankan LIS scholarship using keyword frequency analysis, title-word analysis, sub-topic categorization and keyword co-occurrence analysis. The methodology that was followed was quantitative bibliometric. A total of 73 doctoral theses, gathered from the NLSL collection between 1985 and March 2025, were analyzed. Institutional records and Koha library management system were used to get data. Analytical tools which were used were descriptive statistics, thematic categorization, title-word analysis, keyword co-occurrence mapping and trend analysis. The results indicate that English is the main language of research – almost four fifths of the theses are in English and Sinhala comes after that with a small share, while Tamil is not used in the theses at all. Thematic analysis reveals that the traditional LIS areas of university libraries, library services and collection management have been well represented, while emerging areas like digital libraries, research data management, artificial intelligence applications, information systems and knowledge management are poorly represented. The results of the analysis of the co-occurrence of keywords show that there is a strong thematic relationship between the conventional library service themes and the integration of technological themes and interdisciplinary themes is not high. It is concluded that, the research in LIS in Sri Lanka has not been evenly developed thematically, hasn't diversified much and doesn't pay enough attention to new research directions in the global arena. The research has added value to LIS field by offering a national level thematic bibliographical mapping of the LIS theses and the identification of the main research gaps from which the future academic and policy directions will arise.

This study aimed to analyze the publication trends and citation patterns of the “Accountability in Research” journal. 455 documents have been published in this journal during the last decade, i.e., 2015-2024. The data for this study has been extracted from the Scopus database, and a bibliometric approach was applied to identify the type of documents, year-wise publication distribution, citation pattern, most prolific authors, institutions and countries, highly cited publications, thematic patterns, and the most frequently used keywords. The findings from this study revealed that these 455 publications received a total of 4029 citations with an average citation of 8.85 per publication. D.B. Resnik and A. Marušic were the top contributing authors, and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences followed by the National Institute of Health were the top contributing institutions. The United States stands at the top of the list in terms of top contributing countries, both in terms of number of publications and the number of citations grabbed. The keyword co-occurrence analysis revealed that the most frequently used keywords were “research integrity”, “research ethics”, and “responsible conduct of research”.
