Abstract

The article focuses on the fact that, despite the growing scientific interest in the professional training of future specialists in Physical Culture and Sport, the methodology of teaching specialized disciplines through the purposeful integration of coaching and mentoring technologies has not yet received sufficient theoretical and methodological substantiation. The authors emphasize the need to develop an educational model that combines fundamental professional training with the development of pedagogical excellence, readiness for teaching activities, and continuous professional self-improvement. The study substantiates the expediency of integrating coaching and mentoring approaches into the professional training of future Master’s students in Physical Culture and Sport. The methodological framework includes the competence-based, systemic, activity-based, student-centered, andragogical, and axiological approaches. The principles, structural components of the proposed methodology (motivational-target, content, procedural-technological, and evaluation-resultative), as well as the forms, methods, and instructional tools for implementing coaching and mentoring in the teaching of specialized disciplines are identified. The findings demonstrate that the application of coaching and mentoring technologies contributes to the development of professional, pedagogical, research, communicative, and leadership competencies, enhances learning motivation, and promotes readiness for self-development, reflective practice, and continuous professional growth.
