Business Models and Organizational Strategies in a Climate of Global Uncertainty and Risk
Abstract
The purpose of the research is to determine the role of organizational strategies and innovative business models in ensuring the resilience of enterprises in the face of global risks and uncertainty, as well as to substantiate approaches to the integration of strategic management, risk management systems and adaptive mechanisms for the functioning of organizations in a dynamic economic environment. The empirical study was conducted in 2023–2025 based on the analysis of corporate strategic documents and annual reports of international companies operating in the technology, industrial production, digital services and financial services sectors. The sample included 36 companies, for which 84 strategic and management documents were analyzed for 2021–2024. The results showed that 72% of companies actively integrate digital transformation into strategic development models, 64% use business model diversification as a mechanism for reducing risks, and 58% systematically use innovative management practices to increase organizational adaptability. Statistical comparison of enterprises made it possible to identify differences between companies with a high level of strategic flexibility and organizations with traditional strategic models, which confirms the importance of adaptive management mechanisms in ensuring business sustainability. It has been established that the integration of digital technologies, diversified business models and risk management systems forms a comprehensive model of strategic adaptation of enterprises to global economic instability. The results obtained indicate that strategic flexibility is a key factor in the long-term competitiveness of enterprises and can be used as an analytical indicator of the effectiveness of organizational strategies in the modern economic environment..
