The Grey Relational Analysis (GRA) method in Embedded Systems Design: A Suitable Approach for Multi-Criteria Decision Making
Abstract
This research examines the significance of management functions—Planning, Organizing, Directing, Controlling, and Commitment—in optimizing organizational resources, including Management, Money, Marketing, Manpower, and Material. Grey Relational Analysis (GRA) is used to quantitatively evaluate the relationship between management functions and resource utilization. The findings identify Planning as the most effective function because it supports organizational goals and promotes efficient resource allocation, followed by Organizing, which enhances task delegation and operational efficiency. Directing plays an important role in leadership and coordination but requires improvement in motivating and guiding employees. Controlling and Commitment receive lower rankings, indicating the need for stronger performance monitoring, accountability, dedication, and corrective actions. The evaluation considers five key parameters: Management, Money, Marketing, Manpower, and Material. Overall, the study provides practical insights into improving resource allocation, organizational structure, leadership, and management effectiveness to enhance organizational performance and achieve strategic objectives.
