CDRS-E

Sep 2026 · Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research)

Abstract

CDRS-E 0.1.0rc1 is a software-only release candidate for auditablecoordinate-constrained dynamical representation selection. This Zenodo record is designed to archive the exact source-and-tests ZIPassociated with the public GitHub pre-release v0.1.0rc1. The software isbound to commit 892abf572ddbc17bc5370129cd755640e67aa51d and Git tree 0de828c2373e590403130944214d233ca6753927. The archived ZIP contains the132-file public software tree, its archive README and its SHA-256 sourcemanifest. The corresponding GitHub pre-release also provides the qualified wheel andsource distribution. They are intentionally not duplicated in thissource-only Zenodo record so that the deposit retains one compressed sourcearchive, consistent with Zenodo's documented criterion for consideration bySoftware Heritage. Qualification summary:- Public source tree: 132 files.- GitHub Actions on the release tag: 1,280/1,280 tests passed on CPython 3.11, 3.12 and 3.13, with 94% reported coverage in each matrix job.- Licence: Apache-2.0 for the included software surface.- Manuscript, supplementary, figure, evidence, private-provenance and generated-report materials are excluded. This is a release candidate, not a stable production release. Finite testsand finite catalogues do not establish universal correctness or anundiscovered-defect probability. TS0 remains not met, F03 and F15 remainopen and programme completion remains false. This software record does not constitute publication of the associatedarticle, journal submission, PyPI publication or licensing of any excludednon-code content.

The impact of agile practices on communication in software development

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.

Agile methods in European embedded software development organisations: a survey on the actual use and usefulness of Extreme Programming and Scrum

The results show that the embedded industry has been able to apply agile methods in its development processes and that the appreciation of the agile methods and their individual practices appears to increase once adopted and applied in practice.

Requirements Don’t Live in Isolation: What We’re Exploring with Req-Space

Requirements in large systems rarely exist in isolation. Their meaning depends on the wider project context - other requirements, policies, decisions, tests, and implementation details. That becomes especially important when AI is used for review, because spotting a possible conflict or gap is only the beginning. ReqSpace explores how AI, visualisation, and connected project context can help reviewers understand those findings, trace the relationships behind them, and focus on the questions that…

Beyond Prompt Engineering: The Role of Tacit Knowledge in Software Engineering

AI is making software generation faster, but speed does not remove the need for expertise. As more work is delegated to AI, tacit knowledge may become one of the most important human advantages in software engineering.
