RepuSat: A Stability-Aware Routing for Laser Satellite Network via Link Reputation Dampening

Abstract
Laser Inter-Satellite Links (ISLs) in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellations suffer from high-frequency volatility, causing traditional reactive routing to experience severe route flapping. We present RepuSat, a stability-aware routing framework acting as an algorithmic low-pass filter. By conceptualizing link states as time-evolving reputation scores, it rewards sustained stability and penalizes transient flappers. Simulations show RepuSat reduces latency by up to 49.7% and caps packet loss below 5%, proving that historical reliability outweighs instantaneous capacity.1
