An Extensive Empirical Study on Code Translation Technique

A large-scale empirical study comparing representative code translation techniques across methodological paradigms and translation granularities, which shows that LLMs and LLM-based methods generally outperform learning-based methods in method-level correctness, although similarity metrics alone do not reliably reflect functional correctness.

Enhancing Code Model Robustness Against Identifier Renaming via Unified Code Normalization

UniCode, a novel two-stage defense framework against identifier renaming, is proposed, one of the most effective modifications influencing DCMs’ robustness, and effectively aligns the distributions between the training data and the adversarial test samples, thereby significantly enhancing model robustness.
