An N-acetylated daropeptide modulates nematode development.

Unlike the antimicrobial darobactin, aphotorhaptin A appears to lack antibacterial activity but modulates nematode development, and this activity requires the ether crosslink and the N-terminal acetyl group in the hexapeptide scaffold.
