GmNIGT2a/2b-mediated transcriptional cascade buffers high-nitrogen-triggered nodule senescence in soybean.

The results suggest that GmNIGT2a/2b-mediated transcriptional regulation prevents excessive nodule senescence in response to high N, highlighting the complexity of transcriptional reprogramming for environmental adaptation in nodules.

Natural variation in GmSW6 regulates seed weight and quality in soybean.

The findings elucidate a hierarchical genetic pathway governing soybean seed development and provide potent molecular targets for simultaneous improvement of seed weight and protein content in future 'designer' varieties.
