Selaginella doederleinii–derived extracellular vesicle-like particles induce ferroptosis via the xCT/GPX4 axis and are associated with metabolic and gut microbiota alterations in hepatocellular carcinoma

These findings identify S. doederleinii-derived EV-like nanoparticles as natural anticancer nanotherapeutics and demonstrate their potential for HCC treatment through ferroptosis activation.
