Blood proteomics of menopause map to brain aging and dementia risk.

It is shown that spontaneous menopause is characterized by dysregulation in inflammatory, synaptic, metabolic and Alzheimer's disease biologic processes, which tracked more strongly with hormones than with age.

Unlocking Sensitive Data with SPHERE in the Age of AI

SPHERE is introduced, a model-free method that makes sensitive datasets directly usable by AI and shareable for open science as a synthetic twin, while the original records never leave the local environment.

A world model simulates the latent dynamics of human health

Human health is a single underlying state that no measurement observes directly: diagnoses, blood tests, molecular profiles and images each capture one facet at separate times. Inferring health from such evidence requires a representation that integrates every modality and is carried forward and revised as observations...

Core activation program and selective regional responsiveness of microglia during aging and parabiosis.

Aging is associated with immune dysregulation in the brain and is the greatest risk factor for many neurodegenerative diseases. Rejuvenation interventions can mediate beneficial effects. Microglia are major contributors to neurodegenerative disease progression; however, the molecular changes underlying brain aging and...

Alzheimers disease blood biomarkers reveal proteomic modules of disease progression

Routine and accessible plasma measures can be leveraged to recover reproducible, biologically distinct progression modules that improve characterization of heterogeneous AD and have practical value for risk stratification, trial enrichment, or treatment monitoring.
