Agribusiness development strategy to ensure Russia's food security
The article provides research on the state of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, and evaluates its role in ensuring the country's food security. The purpose of the study is to analyze the dynamics of changes in key industry indicators, assess the growth trajectory of agricultural production, the level of technological independence of Russia, and its export potential in terms of foreign trade operations of domestic agricultural products based on statistical data for the period from 2024 to the present. Special attention is paid to the problems of ensuring the country's food security in difficult modern foreign policy and foreign economic conditions, burdened by the tightening of economic sanctions by a number of unfriendly countries. The main research methods used were general scientific methods of generalization and systematization of information, tools of economic analysis, and an integrated approach to assessing the dynamics of changes in the studied indicators. The study identified the main challenges and risks constraining the development of the Russian agricultural system, and proposed strategic directions for improving government policy in this area, aimed at ensuring food security and achieving food independence of Russia in the current external conditions.
