Continuity Across Operations in Persistent Object Worlds

English This technical report studies how object identity, original decision bases, and unfinished effects retain explicit inheritance relationships across changes in computational resolution, clean pause and resume, and history branching in persistent multiagent object simulations. A Python reference prototype specifies operation preconditions, retained information, state updates, and failure conditions. Its mechanisms retrieve original decisions for later action outcomes, distinguish first creation of member identities from refinement of existing members, settle work before pausing and replan after resumption, preserve the interpretation bases of messages in transit and the first due times of background processes, and bound inherited history at fork positions. The joint case reaches an endpoint with three interconnected regions, 24 agents that actually make decisions, six groups, and nine known members. All nine messages in transit at the fork are delivered during subsequent execution of the intervention branch. Accompanying materials provide two original inputs, 4,798 event headers, state-field excerpts at six saved positions, selected fields from 42 events, archived results, and a record-checking program. This record includes complete Chinese and English editions and a shared evidence archive. The results support continuation within the stated conditions. The 28 material checks examine records; complete conditions for rerunning the simulator are not supplied, and external independent replication has not been completed. The report discloses substantial generative AI use and author responsibility.
