Randomization and Performance Improvement for Integer Optimal Control with Total Variation Regularization

This work numerically analyzes SLIP and Patch-SLIP and proposes and proves convergence of a randomized third algorithm, Randomized-Patch-SLIP, which solves trust-region subproblems over randomly selected patches of the domain.

McCormick relaxations for PDE-constrained optimization on multi-dimensional domains
