The influence of five dimensionality reduction techniques - Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Kernel Principal Component Analysis (Kernel PCA), Variational Autoencoder (VAE), Isometric Mapping (Isomap), and Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) - on the performance of four popular clustering algorithms is assessed.
