Reproducibility Package for "Comparative Constraint in Psychological Theory Testing: An Event-Time Framework for Action Initiation"
This reproducibility package accompanies the manuscript “Comparative Constraint in Psychological Theory Testing: An Event-Time Framework for Action Initiation.” The archive contains Python code and machine-readable outputs for the synthetic methodological analyses reported in the manuscript and supplementary material. It includes the calibrated generic-salience competitor specification, parameter-recovery results, fixed-candidate model-discrimination and temporal-resolution results, misspecification summaries, pinned software dependencies, and file checksums. The synthetic analyses examine how observation-process choices affect theory comparison in event-time studies of action initiation, including risk-set definition, temporal resolution, cue-window misspecification, cue-time measurement error, censoring, and baseline misspecification. The fixed-candidate resolution analysis evaluates 1-, 5-, 15-, and 30-minute onset records, and the parameter-recovery analyses evaluate performance across multiple prespecified conditions. All data contained in this archive are synthetic. No human or animal participant data are included. The materials are provided to support computational reproduction, auditing, and reuse of the methodological analyses.
