New hybrid molecules with 2,3,4,9-tetrahydro-1H-carbazol-1,3,4-oxadiazole-N-phenylacetamide framework as potent cholinesterase inhibitors.

AIMS In this study, new 2,3,4,9-tetrahydro-1H-carbazol-1,3,4-oxadiazole-N-phenylacetamide hybrids 8a-n as potential dual inhibitors of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease (AD) were introduced. METHODS The target compounds were designed using a molecula...

Design and Synthesis of Novel Biginelli Adducts: Anticancer Activity and In Silico Study

ABSTRACT In this study, we report the synthesis of 14 Biginelli adducts and the evaluation of their anticancer activity against three human cancer cell lines: MCF‐7 (breast), SW480 (colon), and Hep‐G2 (liver), as well as the noncancerous Hek‐293 cell line. Among the synthesized derivatives, compound 8n emerged as the m...

Design, Synthesis, and Evaluation of New 1,4‐Naphthoquinone‐1,2,3‐triazoles as Antimalarial Agents

A new series of compounds was evaluated as prospective in vitro antimalarial agents against the chloroquine‐sensitive 3D7 and chloroquine‐resistant K1 strains of Plasmodium falciparum, and the compound bearing a 4‐chloroaryl moiety was the most active against P. falciparum.

Novel diazene-tri(phenoxy-1,2,3-triazole-acetamide) derivatives as potent α-glucosidase inhibitors: synthesis, biological evaluation, and in silico studies

Kinetic enzyme assays revealed that compound 9f acts as a competitive inhibitor of α-glucosidase, competing with the natural substrate for binding to the active site, with a Ki value of 100 nM, and pharmacokinetic predictions showed that compound 9f exhibits a bioavailability radar and drug-likeness profile similar to...
