Postprandial metabolic flexibility during an oral glucose tolerance test in adults with excess body weight and/or excess adiposity: a sex-based comparison using indirect calorimetry.
No moderate-to-large sex differences in postprandial metabolic responses were detected in adults with excess body weight or excess adiposity, and sensitivity analyses adjusting iAUC outcomes for relative glucose dose confirmed the absence of sex differences.
