Heart rate fragmentation in psychiatry: across age stages and association with conventional heart rate variability.

Its robust inverse association with conventional HRV, particularly HF, suggests partial overlap with traditional HRV and supports fragmentation as a complementary marker of beat-to-beat rhythm organization.
