Speech separation for hearing-impaired children in the classroom.

MIMO-TasNet is addressed using MIMO-TasNet, a compact, low-latency, multi-channel architecture suited for real-time processing in bilateral hearing aids or cochlear implants, to enhance computational speech separation for hearing-impaired children.

Bearings: Self-Supervised Soundfield Embeddings from First-Order Ambisonics

Bearings is the first self-supervised soundfield encoder whose embeddings plug into frozen acoustic encoders without retraining either model, raising the location-dependent F-score from below 4 to 50 on TAU-NIGENS 2021 and 39 on STARSS23.
