It is demonstrated that genome editing workflows can shape cellular phenotypes independently of intended genetic modifications, highlighting the need to consider engineering strategy as a critical design parameter when targeting non-essential genes.

Expanding Transposase Technology to Regulatory Noncoding RNAs for Stable Expression in CHO Cells

A transposase‐mediated platform for stable microRNA (miRNA) expression in CHO cells is established and the first application of a DNA transposon system for long‐term miRNA genome integration is demonstrated, demonstrating the applicability of transposase systems beyond protein‐coding transgenes.
