CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE MORTALITY IN BRAZIL: TEMPORAL TRENDS, EPIDEMIOLOGICAL PROFILE, AND REGIONAL DIFFERENCES, 2010–2024

Mortality remained high, with ageing of deaths, regional differences, and limited diagnostic specificity, and strengthening tobacco control, early diagnosis, exacerbation management, and death-cause certification is recommended.
