Molecular evidence suggests a species complex in the andean leaf-eared mouse Auliscomys sublimis (Thomas, 1900) (Rodentia, Cricetidae)
Phylogenetic analysis and species-delimitation methods applied to the phylogeny revealed two lineages in A. sublimis: one corresponding to Peru-Bolivia, and another consistent with Argentinean specimens, suggesting the presence of a species complex within A. sublimis.
