The novel transcriptional activator Bhr1 combining NTPase and Zn(II)2Cys6 DNA-binding domains controls (hemi-)cellulase response to mannose-rich substrates in the white-rot fungus Dichomitus squalens
A novel transcriptional activator, Bhr1, is characterized in the white-rot fungus Dichomitus squalens that exhibits an unusual domain architecture that plays a critical role in activating (hemi-)cellulase enzyme production when D. squalens is exposed to mannose-rich substrates.
