TRANSFORMATION OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES IN THE CONTEXT OF BUSINESS DIGITALIZATION
In the realities of hybrid work formats and intensive business digitalization, classical paradigms of preserving corporate experience require revision. Intellectual capital has firmly established itself as a key factor of market sustainability. This fact is difficult to dispute. At the same time, an obvious contradiction is observed in the scientific and corporate environment. Thus, companies continue to invest in the creation of static file repositories, while the real operational need has shifted towards instant data routing from expert to end consumer. The so-called "corporate amnesia" arises. It is rapidly exacerbated by staff turnover combined with the effect of information isolation in disparate departments. Due to the fragmentation of cognitive resources, the profitability of enterprises directly decreases due to hidden time costs for searching for necessary information. The aim of the study is to analyze the current state of mechanisms for transmitting tacit expertise, assess the economic costs of their inefficiency, and propose vectors for infrastructure adaptation. In comparison with earlier approaches, where the emphasis was on mechanical storage of regulations, the author focuses on dynamic access tools. Notably, the main obstacle today lies not in a lack of software. The problem is in the cognitive overload of employees. With the help of the findings, it is argued that knowledge management has gone beyond the boundaries of a purely HR initiative. In essence, this is a fundamental cross-functional management process. It seems that the materials of the article will be practically useful to top management, heads of organizational development, and IT directors (for in-depth auditing of existing adaptation systems and competent modernization of internal training).
