Dual-Fluency Teacher: From Blind-Spot Analysis to Redesign Using the IAT Model (Session 4: Synthesizing the Final Remedial Lesson Plan )

This instructional guide constitutes Session 1 of the four-part professional development course "Dual-Fluency Teacher: From Blind-Spot Analysis to Redesign Using the IAT Model" (August–September 2026). Session 1 focuses on unpacking the epistemic network of curriculum materials by transitioning from linear textual content to structured Knowledge Graphs. Utilizing the Integrated AI Triad (IAT) framework, this guide equips in-service and preservice teachers with validated Generative AI prompt templates to extract macro, meso, and micro-level concepts, map causal/part-whole/overlapping/contrast relationships, and lay the empirical baseline for pedagogical blind-spot prediction and remedial lesson redesign. Key components included in this document:1. Conceptual rationale for Knowledge Graph (KG) extraction versus linear page-by-page teaching.2. Typology of pedagogical concept relationships (Causal, Sequential, Part-Whole, Overlapping, Contrast).3. Ready-to-use Generative AI prompt templates (Prompt #1: Knowledge Graph Extraction, Prompt #2: Conceptual Leveling, Prompt #3: Textual Graph Mapping).4. Practical exemplar based on K-12 Social Studies content.5. Structured inter-session assignment and submission guidelines.
