Interpreting and Evaluating Dynamic-Rate Speech Codec Boundaries

This work combines boundary interpretation and controlled reconstruction analysis by comparing predicted boundaries with linguistic and acoustic references and finds that boundary meaning depends on the underlying speech representation.
