SpikingNav: Robust Embodied Navigation with Spiking Neural Policies

SpikingNav achieves competitive clean performance and stronger robustness with fewer parameters and lower per-step computation than a matched ANN baseline, and physical hardware validation shows that SpikingNav can be instantiated on a real neuromorphic substrate for cyber-physical systems.

Burst Spiking Neural Networks

This work proposes Burst Spiking Neural Networks (BuSNNs), built upon Burst-enhanced Spiking Neurons and a Dynamic Weight Constraint (DWC) mechanism, which mitigates perturbation-induced transitions in activation states and thereby enhances robustness.
