Bridging the antiviral gap: A BAC-based non-infectious SARS-CoV-2 replicon reveals potent antisense gapmers

A non-infectious SARS-CoV-2 replicon, pBAC-SARS-CoV-2_S/eGFP_ΔE, was developed and evaluated antisense gapmers targeting RNA structural motifs within the untranslated regions (UTRs) and nucleocapsid (N) and membrane (M) genes, suggesting that dual targeting may be an effective antiviral strategy.

Nearest Neighbor Parameters for Estimating RNA Folding Stability with In Vivo-like Conditions

A new model in Advanced Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium, which mimics mammalian extracellular ionic composition, is developed, which provides RNA folding parameters for helical base stacks and loop motifs and improves the biological relevance of RNA secondary structure predictions and establishes a foundation for stud...
