Homoeologous exchange-associated ABA catabolism rewiring contributes to salinity tolerance in a synthetic tetraploid rice

The results suggest post-WGD regulatory diversification contributes to adaptive phenotypic variation in polyploids, and an association between ABA homeostasis and salinity tolerance in tetraploid rice is supported.
