Can Audiometric Configuration Predict Which Patients Derive Greater Speech Intelligibility Benefit from Hearing Aid Fitting?

In adults with moderate sensorineural hearing loss, a down-sloping audiometric configuration was associated with greater improvement in speech intelligibility following HA fitting than a flat audiometric configuration.
