Early post-contrast signal changes in CSF spaces and CSF outflow-related regions on 7 Tesla MRI

These findings provide a normative 7 T semiquantitative benchmark and show distinct compartment-specific post-contrast temporal profiles together with inter-individual variability.

Different functional connectivity gradients reflect aging and Alzheimer's disease.

It is shown that functional connectivity changes associated with aging and AD are strongly aligned with separate fundamental axes of hierarchical brain communication, which suggest that both AD and aging alter major but orthogonal functional pathways in the brain.
