What shapes intraspecific genetic diversity in amphibians and reptiles? A comparative macrogenetic study across six biogeographic regions
Broad-scale variation in species-level mitochondrial genetic diversity is investigated and the relative importance of alternative ecological hypotheses proposed to explain it is evaluated to improve understanding of the factors associated with contemporary patterns of genetic diversity.
