Epigenetic C-Reactive Protein and Corticolimbic Gray Matter Volume in Youth at Clinical High Risk for Psychosis

This study is the first to show that epigenetic CRP is associated with corticolimbic structural differences in CHR-P and HC youth, suggesting that epigenetic CRP may capture inflammation-related neurostructural variation relevant to psychosis risk.

Hippocampal volume and persistent distressing psychotic-like experiences across early adolescence: the moderating role of physical activity

Background. Persistent distressing psychotic-like experiences (PLEs) in youth are associated with cognitive, functional, and psychiatric impairments. Reduced hippocampal volume (HV) is a nonspecific neurodevelopmental risk marker across psychiatric disorders. While physical activity is associated with better mental hea...

Right hippocampal volume and attenuated psychotic symptoms distinguish subgroups of youth with common patterns of temporoparietal effective connectivity

Associations between patterns of brain connectivity and brain structural features have transdiagnostic relevance to psychopathology. There is considerable evidence for disruptions to the hippocampus and temporoparietal brain systems in psychotic disorders. The present study examines structure–function relationships—spe...
