Histopathological Spectrum of Thyroidectomy Specimens and Clinicopathological Characteristics of Thyroid Malignancy in Mogadishu, Somalia: A Retrospective Cross-Sectional Study
Benign goiter dominates thyroid surgical pathology in Mogadishu, while papillary carcinoma leads to a modest malignant burden that is proportionally greatest in younger patients, and strengthening pathology capacity, preoperative cytology, and cancer surveillance is warranted.
