Genetic Architecture and Sample Size Impact Relative Performance of Nonlinear Machine Learning and Standard Polygenic Risk Scores

It is suggested that nonlinear machine learning do not uniformly outperform standard PRSs; rather, their relative performance depends jointly on genetic architecture and training sample size.
