Reproducibility Package for "The Potential of the THESEUS Mission for Studies of Young Stellar Objects"

This Zenodo record contains the reproducibility package accompanying the manuscript “The Potential of the THESEUS Mission for Studies of Young Stellar Objects” by Juhasz et al. The archive includes the Python/PyXspec scripts, selected public input data, machine-readable numerical outputs, and documentation required to reproduce the main sensitivity calculations presented in the paper. The repository is organized into six analysis components: SXI exposure-map digitization for Galactic star-forming regions; regional flare-yield calculations and sensitivity to the flare-energy-distribution slope; flare-duration and temporal-overlap sensitivity; Orion IRT nearest-neighbour source-separation analysis and high-density stress test; Carina/Trumpler 14 projected-source crowding and Monte Carlo stress test; X-ray absorption sensitivity using TBabs*APEC models in PyXspec. Each subdirectory contains a dedicated README describing the assumptions, input parameters, equations, software requirements, and interpretation of the corresponding calculation. The package is intended to reproduce the numerical values and sensitivity tests reported in the manuscript. Some analyses are deliberately first-order or illustrative rather than full forward models of the THESEUS instrumental response or the underlying stellar populations. External data products that are not redistributed are identified and linked to their original public sources in the accompanying documentation.
